Seminar Info:
New digital format cameras—including the RED one and popular HDSLRs—make production seemingly more affordable for more people. But the cost of production and post can still be prohibitive and producers are faced with new problems including data management, digital camera preparation and unknown parameters impacting quality.

 

 

This seminar will provide answers for:

- A simplified workflow for the Canon 5D/7D HDSLR cameras

- A streamlined workflow for Red One based on 3cP

- Easy data management solutions

- Inexpensive color corrected dailies on-set

- Information about the actual latitude of most digital cameras and practical tips for

using charts in production and post

- Making the DI affordable

- Protecting the integrity of the “look” from on-set through festivals and release screenings

 

 

 

Lectures and Guest Speakers:

 

Director of Photography Yuri Neyman, ASC (Liquid Sky, D.O.A. and many others), an inventor of the system and Bob Currier, (creator of the Color Finesse color correction system) are the developers of the 3cP system. Jason Bauer, GD Senior Project Manager, and Brook Willard and Tim Sutherland, renown DITs and 3cP experts will join Instructors Team. Producers of filme which used 3cPmay join the presenation (subject to availability)

 

News:

3cP is a teaching discipline at the camera department in the Polish National Film School at Lodz, and in the Australian Film and Television School (AFTRS). Since this spring 3cP will also be taught for editors and animators in LA-based Studio Arts school .
